Cinnamon Porridge

Serves 1

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

57g or 20z of porridge oats

300ml or ½ pt of water pint

300ml  or ½ pt of whole milk or unsweetened soy milk pint

Pinch of ground cinnamon (and nutmeg if desired)

1 dessert spoon of ground flax or linseeds and pumpkin seeds.

 

 

METHOD

 

  1.  Put the cold water and ½ the milk in a small pan and add the oats.

  2. Slowly bring to the boil while stirring and add the cinnamon/nutmeg

  3. Simmer for 3-4 mins and keep stirring.

  4. Pour into a warm bowl, sprinkle on the seeds and serve with the rest of the milk
